Why We Must Get Out HER Vote!
Access to abortion and birth control will be on the ballot in several key states. Global warming is an ever-present reality. Corporations are exploiting undocumented workers for cheap labor. Young women immediately confront the gender wage gap as they graduate from college and start a full-time job. It is time for young feminists across the country to VOTE AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
The Feminist Majority Foundation's Get Out HER Vote Campaign (GOHV) is the nation's only student-led voter education and registration initiative aimed at increasing young women’s voter participation. We have the most at stake at the polls – we are underrepresented at all levels of government, including campus student goernments, and the policies we vote on will affect us, our daughters, and women around the world. v

GOHV is a non-partisan, issue-based campaign that does not oppose, support, or otherwise endorse any candidate for public office. FMLAs undertaking the GOHV campaign should not support any individual candidate or party, and must afford everyone the opportunity to register to vote regardless of their party affiliation.
