Congressional Day of ACtion
Take what you've learned at the conference and join our Congressional Day of Action! Hold your members of Congress accountable and educate them about the critical feminist issues that are most important to you.
Prepare for your meeting:
Before you arrive in DC, call your members to make an appointment with them or a staffer on Monday, March 22. You can find your senators and representatives by calling the US Capitol Switchboard at 888-423-5983.
Congressional Day of Action:
On Monday the 22nd, FMF will host a morning issue briefing to give you ideas for meeting with your representatives and senators. Then we'll break so everyone can visit their members and grab lunch. In the afternoon, we'll have more great speakers and invite you to share how your visit went!
Don't have time to schedule a meeting with your members? No problem! It's still fine to stop by their office and ask to speak with an aide. Or make an appointment to see them in their state or district offices when you get home.
