Truman State FMLA Holds Demonstration Honoring The Anniversary Of The First March For Women’s Suffrage

On Wednesday, March 3, the Truman State FMLA held a demonstration on their main campus quad to honor the 91st anniversary of the first March for Women's Suffrage that took place in Washington D.C. Students made signs and encouraged others to make signs with quotes from suffrage leader and feminist icon Alice Paul, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucy Stone.
