Listen
By the time you finish reading these paragraphs, another woman will have been raped in America. Rape is the quiet crisis. Now and then rape makes it into our consciousness -- when it involves a priest. Or a basketball player. Or a famous musician. Or a friend. But sexual assault is everywhere, hidden but common. We're asking you to do two simple things. First, think back on your life and answer the question: How many times has somebody told you about experiencing a sexual assault. Second, and just as important, we need you to invite your friends. This campaign will only be successful if it spreads widely. We can't do that. You can. When you've done those two things, we'll show you more ways to get involved. Thanks for your help. Together, let's create a world where sexual violence is no longer hidden, and no longer tolerated.
