CEDAW - Treaty for the Rights of Women
The Working Group on Ratification of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is a group of over 190 national non-governmental organizations engaged in outreach and education to achieve U.S. ratification of the Treaty for the Rights of Women.

CEDAW - UN Division for the Advancement of Women
The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), adopted in 1979 by the UN General Assembly, is often described as an international bill of rights for women.  Consisting of a preamble and 30 articles, it defines what constitutes discrimination against women and sets up an agenda for national action to end such discrimination. CEDAW has not yet been ratified by the United States.

GenderWatch(ers)
International Gender Organization (IGO) sponsors GenderWatchers, a global news service dedicated to informing readers about the status of women and girls worldwide. We post sociopolitical, United Nations, globalization, and education news. We also present our own research at worldwide education and women's conferences.

International Museum of Women
The International Museum of Women is a world-class cultural and educational institution proposed for San Francisco. It will be the only international museum exclusively dedicated to chronicling and honoring the lives of women worldwide.

The Afghanistan Girls School Project
Through the Afghanistan Girls School Project, Solace International builds schools for girls and women in Afghanistan. Solace International builds schools with support from local community leaders, using local materials and labor. These schools address a serious need as educational opportunities for women in Afghanistan are scarce.

USAID -Education and Universities Page
USAID is an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State. They lead an educational effort in collaboration with American universities and colleges, USAID supports a wide variety of training, workforce development, and higher education programs. These partnerships strengthen faculties and administrations in both developing countries and the United States, providing ongoing benefits to students in both settings.

Women’s Edge Coalition
The Women’s Edge Coalition's organizational members and concerned citizens, work together to increase U.S. investment in women and girls, and the poorest people in the world by advocating international economic policies and human rights.
