Kristin Lems
feminist singer-songwriter and ERA balladeer Kristin Lems has an interactive website, with video and audio clips, her current performing itinerary, "reflections on recent gigs," links, and online ordering of her CDs, cassettes, books, and lps. Kristin authored "Ballad of the ERA," "Mammary Glands," "Farmer" (Call me a Farmer, not a Farmer's Wife), "My Mom's a Feminist," "We Will Never Give Up," "The First Five Minutes of Life," "Wrinkles," and many other woman-affirming classics. Kristin founded the National Women's Music Festival in 1974 and is interviewed in the recently-released award winning documentary, "Radical Harmonies." Her feminist songs are also included in Smithsonian Institution's Grammy nominated collection, "The Best of Broadside."
