Jamie O'Reilly
Performer, producer and arts activist Jamie O'Reilly runs a small cultural arts business in Chicago, providing women's programs, recordings and consulting to non-profits and free-lance artists. A feminist activist for over 25 years, Jamie uses folk, classical & period music presented in theaters and cultural centers, to highlight the power and musings of women. Known for powerful interpretations of ballads, she writes lyrics and collaborates with Michael Smith. TheIr recordings of Pasiones: Songs of the Spanish Civil War, and The Gift of the Magi are sold worldwide. She is currently touring and recording the anti-war piece, "Songs of the Kerry Madwoman", a song cycle based on Mad Mis--the 7th C mythological woman, with lyrics by Poets for Peace awardwinner Patricia Monaghan.

Joan Baez
