The Association for Women in Communications
A professional organization for women in communications, this association represents print and broadcast journalism, television and radio production, film, advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic design, multi-media design, and photography. Opportunities for professional development as well as networking.

National Federation of Press Women
This association promotes women journalists and free speech, offers special seminars and other professional opportunities to members, and has a student membership option. Of course, great networking opportunities available.

The Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard
A program for mid-career journalists, this foundation offers an incredible opportunity for study at Harvard University, where the journalist creates her/his own plan and has access to nearly all courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and networking opportunities available through the University and the Foundation itself.
