Current Need
Senior Software Engineer

Position Description
Senior Software Engineer to help us along any of the aspects of our big data/data warehousing/business intelligence/analytics process: intake and quality control of data, large dataset number crunching algorithms, data mining, web development for data presentation and the automation of the infrastructure to make this all happen

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, developing and implementing systems, participating in architecture decisions and collaborating on design patterns, coding standards and code reviews with the rest of the development team.

MedVentive is looking for developers who are proficient in areas such as software configuration management, release planning, and establishing / improving development methodologies. You will work daily on common development issues such as: architecture decisions, design patterns, coding standards / recommendations as design / code reviews.

Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in software engineering Critical Skills Has worked in an ASP.net environment Strong experience with SQL, .NET, C#, T-SQL, Microsoft IIS Has experience taking lead role on technical projects Experience developing software working within a production environment Strong communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with health care industry including requirements gathering and/or systems analysis a plus Has worked on software projects that were delivered to a customer other than the internal customers within the same company.
Experience in a database development environment with one the following: Transact-SQL or PL/SQL Experience in a formal development methodology (e.g. AGILE is a plus) Independent, resourceful and self-motivated. Strong analytical skills.
Business intelligence, analytics or big data experience a big plus.
Demonstrated analysis and data-driven problem solving skills

Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Physical Requirements General Office Demands
