Merit Deputy Sheriff - Minimum Qualifications

-United States Citizen
-Valid Driver's License (Valid Indiana License by appointment) -No felony convictions -Have legal ability to possess a firearm -High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent -Ability to read and write English -Must be at least 21 years of age -Pass all the components of the Selection Process -Must establish residency in Hamilton County within one year of employment -No dishonorable discharge or undesirable discharge from any Armed Forces branch -No misdemeanor conviction of domestic violence -Pass stringent drug screen
