Patient Advocate needed to work in fast-paced medical environment where team members are committed to advocating for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care. Advocates will respond to patient needs by offering direct care and partnering with patients to meet their physical and emotional needs. Patient Advocates will provide fact-based education, supportive counseling where pregnancy options can be discussed in a patient-centered manner and include parenting and adoption plans.

CHWC is dedicated to providing women with the best reproductive and gynecological healthcare possible. We are a member of the Abortion Care Network and the National Abortion Federation.

This job is ideal for someone seeking a rewarding career within the reproductive justice movement, and may grow into a management position where training into other clinic areas will be provided. Ideal candidates will have a positive outlook on life, support diverse cultures, and find pleasure in exceeding patient expectations as well as hold strong communication skills, computer knowledge and a commitment to professionalism. Multi-language candidates, those with experience of living abroad, and previous advocacy experience a PLUS!

This work environment is friendly, supportive and engaging for those seeking a challenge. Regular work schedule will be 35-40 hours, Tuesday-Saturday.
