Description:

We are looking for female officers who have at least three years previous related experience in good standing within the four year period immediately preceding the application deadline. Related experience shall consist of full-time paid employment as a police officer in a full service police department.
We are currently accepting lateral applications until February 22nd, 2013 for an anticipated June 2013 academy. Salary: Grade III - $53,822 Grade II - $59,965 Grade I - $67,195; salary for lateral applicant is dependent upon experience and level of education; Less than a bachelor?s degree 3 to 5 yrs or prior service Grade III- after completion of training Grade II; 5 yrs or more of prior service Grade II - after completion of training Grade I. With Bachelor?s Degree: 3 to 5 years prior service Grade II - after completion of training Grade I; 5 years of service or more Grade - completion of training Grade I step B.
