** Here's what some FMF staffers had to say about this month's pick!

"It’s about a Japanese girl (Sone herself) during WWII, her eventual transfer to a detainment camp, and her experience there. So interesting because you rarely hear these stories in your history class."

"this book made me so mad because it was supposedly about her internment. she spends more than half the book talking about her life in seattle. i kept waiting for her to come out and say "what the government is doing is wrong" but she pretty much just glosses over the entire part of her life"
